Welcome to Mesaieed International School’s Model United Nations 2025. It is with great excitement that we welcome you to this year’s MUN conference. As the Directors, we are honored to be part of such a vibrant and passionate community of young leaders. This year, we have chosen the theme "The Age of Discovery," a fitting tribute to the explorers, innovators, and visionaries who have shaped our world. Just as the great navigators of history set sail to discover uncharted territories, we, too, embark on our own journeys of exploration, growth, and understanding.

The Age of Discovery was a time when the world opened in ways never before imagined – when curiosity led to breakthroughs, and ambition fueled progress. Similarly, MUN offers students an opportunity to explore the world of diplomacy, debate, and global challenges, all while discovering their own potential. Just as the explorers faced obstacles and uncertainties, our delegates confront complex issues, learn to navigate different perspectives, and take on leadership roles that will shape their futures.

We would also like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to the Big 5 and their remarkable teams. The dedication and hard work they have invested in organizing this event has been extraordinary. From the meticulous planning of each committee to ensuring every detail is in place, their commitment to excellence is what makes this conference truly special. We are incredibly proud of their achievements, and it is a privilege to witness their leadership firsthand.

This MUN experience is not just about representing a country or debating a resolution – it is about discovering new perspectives, learning the value of collaboration, and developing skills that will serve you for a lifetime. Just as the explorers of old left their mark on the world, you too can leave your mark by embracing the challenges of diplomacy and international cooperation.
